Art Therapist

About me

Born in Australia, I have lived most of my adult life in Europe, first in the UK and now, in Paris, France, since 2009.

I have had the rare and beautiful opportunity to study, experience and take on many roles in my life that have enriched every practice that I do.

My career, spanning 17 years, has offered me special encounters to accumulate professional expertise in many areas making me multi-skilled.

Originally a theatre maker, my expertise and training extends to art therapy, theatre (directing, writing, teaching, scenography), interior design, painting, art directing (fashion, film, events), film (writing, producing, editing, art direction), business development, health coaching including relaxation and ballet-barre, university lecturing, writing, & research, as well as work in the not-for-profit and educational sectors.

My theatre and scenographic work is deeply informed by my training at the Jacques Lecoq school.

A deep hunger for knowledge & life-experience, a love of the arts, care and of multi-disciplinary connections, are at the "fils rouges" that tie all these skills & experiences together.

I am currently an RDF funded PhD researcher at the University of Northumbria (Newcastle Upon Tyne,UK) in the faculty of Engineering within the department of Architecture & Built Environment.

I am an activist fighting the climate crisis with care and mental health initiatives through creative practice as well as being an advocate for children's rights and planetary rights.
